In 2018, Georgian—the biggest growth-stage VC firm in Canada—asked Embrase to put on a day of content for their portfolio executives and some invited guests. The result was Scaletech, a packed day of content and networking to a carefully curated audience.

2019 saw an expansion of the lineup in its Toronto venue, and 2020 pivoted to a series of online events and a virtual conference in October packed with some of the tech industry’s most sought-after voices. In 2021, Georgian and Embrase have partnered with the International Institute of Analytics—the authority on analytics maturity and best practices—to connect those building technology to those tasked with delivering business value within enterprises.
